Call for entries 2010 is open. Our festival sections are:

 

Fantastic Worlds

Main festival section. Fantastic feature movies and feature animation. From genre cinema to artistic sci-fi, grotesque, comedy and more.
     
 

World spectrum

Independent movies, debutes, works from well known directors and more. New visions and ideas. Drama, comedy, romance and more.
     
 

Short feature & animation

Everything short up to 30 min. Fantastic short movies, feature animation, experimental animation, animated documentary and more.

New fantastic idea & theme

Sopot Film Festival is changing. Last year, after 8 editions of international short films contest we've expanded our sections and festival theme. Our festival relaunched as a International Fantastic Film Competition - the first and only fantastic film festival in Poland.

New event will take place in Sopot in July 2010. More info coming shortly, as well as our new website.

Fantastic Main Section



This competition is created to present full-lenght films, both features & animations, corresponding with fantastic cinema theme. We will show features movies: from absurd and grotesque, through action and adventure, up to thriller, horror, anime, fantasy and sci-fi. It is about fantastic cinema in a wide rage of meaning. It’s the first and the only one fantastic competition in Poland.

World shorts & short animation

This sections are meant for short movies, features and animations, from all over the world. From classic feature, through experimental impressions, animated telediscs & 3D animation.
